At TRON SHOW 2006, ordinary visitors were able to experience all the steps in the food traceability verification trials that have taken place at multiple locations throughout Japan. Prof. Sakamura wants ordinary people to experience these technologies not just to get feedback, but also to allow people to understand them and accept them.

During the press preview tour, Prof. Sakamura said that he liked this demonstration in which multiple heat sensors are linked together and their readings are plotted in real time on a graph in the background. That's probably because this is the realization of one of the intelligent home technologies he has been talking about since the late 1980s.
